Richard J. Wood, PhD, ATC, CSCS
Richard Wood is available for general comments about the CWER, as well as nutrition. Wood earned his PhD in nutritional sciences, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism. He is an active researcher in the areas of nutrition and exercise for chronic metabolic disease.
Sara Gregory, PhD, RCEP
Sara Gregory is an expert in exercise and cardiovascular and metabolic health, as well as stress management techniques, such as meditation, as related to cardiovascular and metabolic health.
Dr. Chapman was recently invited to present on the topic of “Elder Nutrition” at a conference held by Greater Springfield Senior Services on March 12. As a Registered Dietitian for more than 25 years, Dr. Chapman has focused on community health through nutrition, with specific expertise in the areas of breastfeeding and eliminating health disparities. Dr. Chapman has evaluated interventions to improve breastfeeding rates among low-income, minority women, and promotes evidence-based practices in the areas of maternal and child nutrition.
