Jane Blount '95 Occupational Therapy
Springfield College was willing to take a chance on me and accept me into its occupational therapy program. The facilities and fieldwork settings were extremely beneficial. The faculty is a team of dedicated occupational therapy (OT) professionals who are committed to producing quality OT practitioners in order to further advance the field. The anatomy cadaver lab was the most unforgettable and valuable learning experience I had. I am a very visual learner, so although it was rigorous at first, it ended up being a truly wonderful experience that has benefitted me greatly. The Springfield College Humanics philosophy is in line with the mission and theories related to occupational therapy. The campus environment was perfect in that everything was easily accessible and I did not have to walk very far to get from one place to the next. Having come from a large university where I did my undergraduate work, this was a welcome change.
