Are you interested in a career in the health professions?

If so, the Springfield College Pre-Medical and Pre-Health Scholars (PMPHS) advising service offers academic advising and guidance for students who intend to pursue advanced education in a wide variety of medical fields. The director guides you through your four years at Springfield College and beyond to prepare you for your next steps toward advanced education in the health care field, including the application process.

How can pre-health professions advising help you achieve your goals?

Springfield College supports students applying to graduate programs in health professions. While you are ultimately in charge of your own career preparation, you will receive guidance from a faculty member who is knowledgeable about the requirements and procedures for applying to medical school and other graduate programs in health professions. There is also a Pre-Medical Letter Committee whose members assist with reference letters for students who meet qualifying criteria.

Springfield College maintains and continues to build fast-track affiliation agreements with professional schools, clinics, and alumni working in health professions to provide opportunities for students pursuing health careers.
